The Truth about Judicial Reform Protesters in Israel.
Israel is once again being confronted by an array of political agitators and liberal wokesters demanding the end of judicial reform now before the Knesset. What they cannot achieve through the Democratic process, they endeavour to realize by undermining the very fabric of Jewish society.
They are not the friends of Democracy any more than they represent the authentic Jewish ethos.
These political ideologues’ agenda is founded on their absurd woke doctrine of impossible equality of identity politics, gender ideology and their insistence that everyone else must accept their dogma or risk being cancelled. Israel’s homegrown extremists have arisen from the devastating woke brigade of America and, to a lesser extent Europe. These liberal-leftists are primarily in revolt against authority and historical tradition. They seek to overthrow democratic institutions and established values by labelling them authoritarian as well as racist, homophobic, and fascist.
The agitators in Israel’s streets have perfected a technique of playing on the hopes and fears of democratic people at precisely those moments when they are being most aggressive and hostile towards the democratically elected government of the day.
We can judge these liberal leftists by looking at the balance between truth and improvement and seeing if we find a tough-minded recognition of the facts and a consequent rejection of the comforting, unrealistic nonsense they espouse on every subject from civil governance to biological reality. They operate in an environment of political and moral fantasy. These bleeding hearts are guilty of embracing a radical misunderstanding of politics and truth-seeking.
The liberal leftist take over ordinary words and inflate them into philosophical mumbo jumbo.
This is the reality Israel confronts today. The truth of who these protesters are and what motivates their hysteria and revolutionary zeal.
Do not be fooled. They are not friends of Democracy but rather enemies of civil society.
