In reality, the Jewish State has been strengthened by the tragic experience of October 7, drawing many of its disparate groups and alignments together as nothing else could. Yes, there are some very deep and bitter divisions within the country; however, the vast majority, regardless of faction and political persuasion, are united in their defence of the Jewish State and all it represents.
A sense of Jewishness has resurfaced in the last 12 months, which seemed all but lost before October 7, and a rediscovery of its Zionist roots is taking place within secular and religious communities all over Israel and in the threatened Diaspora.
Indeed, Khamenei and his crony’s actions are acting as a catalyst in the Jews’ return to authentic Jewish values and ideas.
